When it has come to animal’s fight, many people who love to watch Animal Planet or other animal channel wonder who will win when lion fights against elephant.

This question is actually quite strange because it is so hypothetical. We all know that elephant is not a hunter. It is pictured as calm animal while lion is depicted as the king of jungle that will win every single fight because it has any kind of strength and killing skill. You might be wrong when you are too sure about lion's win.

It should be seen by the facts that elephant does have bigger and stronger body than lion. As it is said above, the question is not really true because the fight between elephant and lion would not really happen because there will be no fight when the elephant's calf is safe.

The matter is only about the safety of calves. Thus, when lion does not endanger their babies. There will be no fight. Let's just count and see the possibilities.

Let's say that there will be a fight between male lion and elephant. The elephant would definitely win because the weight is just beyond amazing.

The lion will be instantly dead because of that dramatic weight difference. Not all lions will be dead when they fight against elephant. However, the Lions will still be paralyzed. The elephant will just go and win the fight.

The aggressive elephants could kill many lions if they do want to fight. It is good because the food chain doesn’t let the elephant get into hunting cycle. Elephant will only fight when their babies are endangered.
