Give Husky a good quality food twice or once a day. Avoid over-activity on Husky for at least 90 minutes after eating. The amount of food for your Husky will depend on Husky's size, age and health level. Feed your young husky 3 times a day. When your husky is 3 to 4 months old, you should feed them 2 times a day. Never give Husky human food or canned food as this can cause diarrhea.

-Brushing Husky's Fur

Husky is naturally and genetically clean dogs. They also don't smell their body odor and they can take care of themselves so we don't have to bother too much with this Husky's body hygiene problem. However, this dog sheds easily in the windy season. The normal shedding period for Husky is only 3 weeks. The treatment for this loss is to brush Husky's dead hair once a week to make Husky's coat shiny and fresh. In the summer, do not ever shave Husky's hair, because it can remove Husky's protective layer against Ultraviolet radiation.

-How to bathe

Huskies are able to keep themselves clean so we don't have to bathe them often. We can bathe this them once a year. If you have trouble or can't wash your husky by yourself, you can ask for help from animal care services.

-Cutting nails

Husky's nails need to be trimmed only once a week or within two weeks. If your Husky is very energetic and it is difficult to cut his nails, you can take your Husky to the vet. The thing to remember, this dog's nails can be cut naturally because of their playing activities.

-Brushing Teeth

Brush your Husky's teeth at least 2 or 3 times a week. You can also use a special dog toothpaste that can be purchased at the veterinarian or local Pet Shop. When you brush them regularly, their breath becomes fresher. When you don’t do, it can cause plaque to form on the teeth which can cause more serious health problems. If you have trouble brushing your own dog's teeth, you can ask the vet for help.
