10 Biggest and Weirdest Machines In The World

10 Biggest and Weirdest Machines In The World

Technological advances are increasingly fast, it does not make people think to create something smaller and lighter, but they have other ideas that are more brilliant that is making something very big. Are you curious about what the biggest and weirdest machine in the world looks like? Here are the 10 biggest machines in the world

10. World Biggest Telescope

The radio telescope located in the natural crater of Guizhou Province, southwest of China, is an ambitious project of the Chinese National Astronomy Observatiorium. With a 500 meter diameter satellite consisting of thousands of triangular panels, this telescope far outperforms the world's largest telescope, the Aricebo Observatory in Puerto Rico with a diameter of 305 meters

9. Overburden Conveyor Bridge

Overburden Conveyor Bridge F60 is the largest machine that can move freely. This tool is disabled after 13 months of operation for reasons of Energy and Political Sources. This machine is 80 meters, 202 meters wide and 502 meters long. This tool also often called "Lying Eiffel Tower" F60 is one of five conveyors used in coal mining in Germany.

8. World Largest Dumper Truck

The next biggest machine in the world is Belaz, the biggest dumper truck. The manufacturer claims that Belaz could take 450 tons of trash with speed 25 km/hour. It was indeed manufactures just for one job with two sixteen-cylinder engines that could provide the truck with 13,738 pounds of torque.

7. World Largest Aircraft

This is Stratolaunch. It looks like a weird aircraft but it has longest wings. The wings are 30m longer than the current biggest cargo plane in the world, Antonov An-225 Mriya. With 118 m wings, this aircraft was built to take satellote into low orbit on earth. It was released in Mojave, California, US two years ago. This aircraft needs at least 747 jets to go. Wow!

6.Worlds biggest Remote controlled robot

A toy with a remote control is always fun. It is more fun when it comes with big stuff. It took 6 years for Germany's Zollnerr Electronic AG to create the world's biggest remote controlled robot. The team contained 15 people to finish the project. This robot is giant dragon named Dragon Zollner. It weighs 11 tons with 11,8 wings. It is equipped with remote control and could spray out fire effect.

5. Biggest Motorbike

There are lot of strange things in the world, but this big motorcycle is probably the weirdest thing ever in the world. It could be odd, but it is recorded as the biggest motorcycle in the world. It was made by an Italian man, Fabbio Reggiani. His motorcycle is 5 m tall and weighs 5.5 tons. What makes it big and awesome is its engine. Coming up with 5.000 cc 5,7 L V8, this motorbike is as fast as supercar.

4. Biggest Ship

Prelude is the biggest ship in the world and it appeared in South Korea. Basically, Prelude is not a ship but it is to store liquid natural gas from earth. This ship is 487 m long and 74 m wide. The tank used to store liquid is as big as 175 Olympic swimming pool. This ship has fiddled Emma Maersk into world's second biggest ship in the world. When it is full, the weight could be 600.000 tons.

3. Big Bertha

It is a name for the biggest tunnel boring machine. It has 91 m, with weigh more than 7K tons and diamter 17,5 meter. Sadly, this machine stopped running or it was stopped in December 6th 2013. Although, it has been stopped but it is recorded in the history as the biggest tunnel in the world.

2.Giant Bucket Wheel Excavator

Could you imagine 14.061 tons machine? It's Giant Bucket Wheel Excavator. Built in 1995 in Germany, this excavator is prolly the biggest bucket in the world. This machine needs at least 5 operators to run and push simultaneously and it could take 9,5 M cubic soil per day. This excavator was run indeed to help big project. There might be bigger bucket wheel excavator in the future but today this excavator is still the biggest one in the world.

1.Large Hadron Collider

Large Hadron Collider is a complex machine to study subatomic particles. It is to crash two proton particles with big kinetic energy. It was built by CERN. The project started in 195 and it'd been one of the biggest projects in the world as its cost was more than USD 10 Billion. It took 14 years to finish the project. It is located in Switzerland. This 27 km machine was built by 10.000 engineers and researchers.
