10 rare animals that are almost impossible to see in the wild

Rare animals are evidence of greedy human existence. This irresponsible human greed has resulted in several animal species in the world threatened with extinction. Because there are so few remaining populations that survive, these animals are almost impossible to find in the wild even once. To spread awareness about this, here is a list of animals that we should protect as much as possible from extinction.

1. California Condor, Largest Bird in North America that is Nearly Extinct

Having a wingspan of up to 3 meters, this bird was "extinct" from the wild. Then the remaining 27 California Condors were caught for inclusion in the breeding program. Even though they have gone through this program, the animal population is still relatively small.

2. Dusky Gopher Toad, Endangered Species of the Southern United States

The population of frogs, which can only be found in 2 small ponds in Mississippi, is only less than 250.

3. Elephant Rat, Small Mammals Originating from Africa

These animals move like rabbits and are blessed with sharp hearing and smell.

4. Mantis Shrimp, The Most Colorful Living Creature on Earth

The outer skin of this marine animal displays beautiful orange, green, red, and blue colors.

5. Glasswinged Butterfly, Animal with Stunning Translucent Wings

This butterfly has a habitat in moist forests and gardens located in Central America. Because of its appearance, this animal is quite difficult to find.

6. Araripe Manaik, Endemic Bird of Asala Brazil which is Endangered

Habitat loss is one of the reasons why there are only 800 birds left worldwide.

7. Nicobar Pigeon, Pigeon with the Most Striking Color in the World

Although it was once found in large numbers, this pigeon population was actually decreasing.

8. Mexican Wolf, Was Slaughtered by Unscrupulous from the United States in the Mid 1970's.

The population of the Mexican wolf is increasing very slowly.

9. Hirola, Most Endangered Antelope in the World

Disease outbreaks in the 1980s killed about 85-90% of the population of this one animal. Due to the difficulty to survive since the outbreak, the population of this animal is only about 500 individuals.

10. Glaucous Macaw, The Most Beautiful Tropical Bird

This bird was last discovered in the 1960's and is considered extinct by naturalists. However, it is still possible that this small population of beautiful birds will survive because the survey has not been carried out in the entire South American region.

Okay, these are the 10 rarest animals that still exist in the world. Don’t forget to share, like and subscribe
